As an Engineering Specialist, you will take ownership of the technical realization of specific project scopes. You will be responsible for translating concepts into robust engineering solutions, including detailed designs, 3D models, and complete technical documentation. Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, you will ensure that all designs are technically feasible, manufacturable, and fully compliant with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize detailed engineering solutions, including 3D models and technical drawings.
- Translate project requirements into practical, production-ready designs.
- Ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal technical standards.
- Assess manufacturability and technical feasibility throughout the design process.
- Identify technical challenges early and propose effective, well-founded solutions.
- Collaborate closely with lead engineers, production, and project management to deliver high-quality results on time.

About you
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (HBO level or equivalent).
- Experience: At least 5 years in a comparable role, ideally in yacht or shipbuilding.
- Thorough understanding of the construction process of seagoing (super)yachts.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- Strong IT skills, including CAD software, NX, Teamcenter, and related tools.
- Excellent communication skills – you keep colleagues well-informed about specifications and developments.
- Ability to stay current with industry innovations and apply this knowledge effectively within the team.
