We are recruiting on behalf of our (anonymous) partner, a leading international player in the financial sector, for a Senior BI Specialist. In this role, you will take ownership of complex data modeling, dashboarding, and reporting processes using Snowflake, DBT, and Qlik. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making across departments.
You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineers, and fellow BI professionals in a modern and mature data environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on BI expert looking to deepen their impact and contribute to the development of scalable, future-proof BI solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining data models in Snowflake and DBT
- Leading the development of dashboards and self-service reporting in Qlik
- Writing complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis
- Acting as a sparring partner for business stakeholders and advising on data needs
- Mentoring junior BI colleagues where needed
- Contributing to data quality improvements and BI governance
- Participating in architecture discussions and roadmap planning
You will join a respected and forward-thinking organization in the asset management domain. Their BI team combines technical expertise with a strong business sense and supports a broad range of internal departments. The culture is open, analytical, and focused on high-quality delivery.
The company operates in a hybrid working model, requiring on-site presence three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in BI development
- Proven skills in SQL, including writing complex queries
- Strong experience with one or more dashboarding tools (Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI)
- Practical experience with data modeling and transformation using Snowflake and/or DBT
- A good understanding of modern BI best practices and architecture
- Strong communication skills in English
- The ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, and drive solutions
- Gross monthly salary up to €5,200, depending on experience
- 9 additional leave days (ADV) on top of standard holidays
- Hybrid work model: 3 mandatory office days (Tuesday–Thursday), others remote
- Duration: 12–24 months
- Hours: 32–40 hours per week
