The Project Engineer holds responsibility for the project scope, managed by a team under their supervision.

As a Project Engineer, you will lead a specialized engineering team, ensuring top-notch quality in design and execution, while collaborating with leading professionals in the industry.
This role will primarily focus on Routing and Arrangements.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering scope of your discipline within the project, ensuring quality, budget control, and timely delivery.
- Develop and oversee the final design, technical specifications, and 3D models, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (Class & Flag).
- Serve as a key technical expert, providing innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Ensure seamless interdisciplinary coordination, collaborating with engineers from various specializations.
- Supervise and mentor junior and senior engineers, fostering professional growth and maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including the Owner’s team, to align expectations, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize yacht manufacturability.
- Monitor and enhance engineering processes to drive continuous improvement and innovation in luxury yacht design.
This company is renowned for its expertise in designing and constructing luxury superyachts, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. They are recognized for delivering high-quality, custom-built vessels that meet the unique specifications and desires of their clients.
- Competitive salary between €3.800 – €6.500 per month (based on knowledge and experience).
- 38 days off (25 vacation days and 13 ADV days for full-time employment).
- One-year contract with intention to become permanent.
- Travel allowance based on €0.23 per kilometer for commuting distance.

- Flexible working hours in consultation with your supervisor.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Engineer in Shipbuilding.
- Proven experience in managing a team of engineers.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as 3D AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional communication skills, adaptable to different conversational partners.
- Knowledge and experience in exterior engineering, moving equipment, and equipment integration.
- Insight into cable and panel planning, onboard systems, and weight and budgeting.
- Deep technical understanding of yacht building, production, and construction processes.
- Analytical mindset with a high standard for delivering quality and results.
