Challenging role on system level
- After the training period in which you get to know our systems extensively, you will work on significant functional improvements of our system in a project team. These projects are originating from our development roadmap.
- Analyze what must be done to achieve the required functionality, generate concepts and 3D designs and coordinate with suppliers about the detailing and production of proto parts.
- Plan, coordinate, and handle your part of the project in a structured manner.
- Take care of the related internal and external communication, including documentation and (progress) reports.
- Maintaining an overview and give colleagues insight into the entire process.
- Contributing to organization wide improvement projects.
- You will report to the R&D Manager in Best.

- An MSc education in the direction of Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Wide technical interest in addition to mechanics, precision mechanics is a strong recommendation.
- Mechatronics, vacuum knowledge, optics and interest in physics and optics is recommended•
- At least 5 years of work experience including 3D CAD design
- You are enterprising, hands on, pragmatic and have demonstrable skills in the field of professional project based work.
- You are creative and a strong communicator.
- You have strong analytical skills, you think in terms of conceptual solutions and you are motivated to achieve an great team result together with colleagues
- You are a self starter who easily holds your own in a demanding, dynamic environment.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
