For our client in the Nijmegen area, YER is looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager. It's a full-time position, starting immediately and lasting initially for a year, with the possibility to being hired directly at the company after the aforementioned period.

Functie

For our client in the Nijmegen area, YER is looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager. It's a full-time position, starting immediately and lasting initially for a year, with the possibility to being hired directly at the company after the aforementioned period.

The Sales and Marketing Manager is part of the commercial division of the company and is in charge of both distributors and direct accounts for different product portfolios. He/she is in direct touch with the Quote Center in the different business groups and their commercial marketing. Provides on a regular basis pricing for new ventures in the company’s various direct accounts and special rates to help wholesalers grow their business.

The Sales and Marketing Manager is the contact point for the business group in the region and is aware not only of his own portfolio but also has knowledge of what happens at the competitors’ sites. He/she can be the Negotiator for the annual OEM contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Providing punctual follow-up on quote requests for specific business lines
  • Making sure that the pricing strategies set by the respective business line marketers are applied and, if necessary, adjusted to achieve the expected results
  • Developing and keeping a solid relationship with all distributors and performing surveys on NPI parts to help the business groups with primary price settings.
  • Reviewing the MPP prices quarterly and adjust, where appropriate, to stay competitive in the market.
  • Keeping customer master data for the management of designated OEM accounts
  • Working with the coordinator, as a negotiator, to establish new/updated master-data for the new contract range.
  • Setting the strategy for the next negotiations together with the business groups’ managers.
  • Partnering with the account manager and being responsible for the results of the negotiations
  • Delivering strategic support, value-added feedback and guidance to Regional Marketing, business lines, and account managers
  • Gathering and conveying information about the market/competitor to the company
  • Analysing and evaluating price developments and performance rates of quotes when needed.

Profiel

  • Bachelor’s Degree/HBO (CE, BE or Technical)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the same industry
  • Technical knowledge of the portfolio
  • Knowledge and use of ModelN
  • Knowledge and use of SAP
  • Knowledge and use of Spotfire
