The Intelligent Reporting Transformation department is a Sub-department within the Corporate Planning & Performance Measurement organization in Corporate Finance Function. The department is a driving enabler of the Corporate Finance Strategy and has a key focus on the transformation to fully automated management reports. The expected goal is to move from transactional to analytical finance functions to develop strong partnership and added value for business partners which will contribute to:

1. Their growth and strategic goals;
2. Risk, Control & Compliance;
3. Performance needs.

Additional to this, the department is supporting, assessing and challenging any potential digitized and automated ERP solutions in collaboration with Business Partners and Shared Services IT.


Job purpose
The main focus of this role is the transformation to automation of Business Performance reporting with a broad scope, in terms of production/sales performance, P&L and Balance Sheet. These reports need to be designed in close alignment with the business requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support all required and assigned activities as part of the department responsibility in the Management Reporting Improvement initiative
  • Support in developing new reports based on business needs
  • Identify improvements opportunities in current process and suggest enhancements as required
  • Support activities for Operational Balance Sheet optimization initiative, in strong collaboration and alignment with direct colleagues and important stakeholders
  • Support the development and testing of a Global (Customer) Profitability Report
  • Perform & Support Global Checks & Controls during the period-end close cycle. Ensure that managerial accounting is in line with Global Guidelines/designs
  • Proactively and continuously find opportunities to make Accounting & Reporting processes more efficient and effective
  • Support the successful implementation of SAP Master Data Governance Tool and after care (e.g. cleansing of existing MD)
  • Support Ad-Hoc Requests from Projects/initiatives or requested by main customers/stakeholders in the organization, in strong alignment with Sr. Mgt. CP&PM

Relevant competencies:

  • Broad knowledge of SAP Process designs, such as Order-to-Cash, Production Planning, Materials Management
  • Familiar with SAP Supported Analytical & Reporting tools, such as HANA, Lumira & Celonis
  • Experience in working with SAP ECC R/3 FI/CO Modules/Area’s, preferrably in the area of Product Costing, Profit Center Accounting & CO-PA
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear analytics
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add-value to team and the business
  • Microsoft office skills (Excel and PowerPoint.)
  • Excellent accounting knowledge specially in the area of management accounting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
