For an international investment company in the centre of Amsterdam, we are looking for an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director (also Head of the European Deal Team) and Director International Tax. Permanent, fulltime job.


Providing secretarial and administrative support through:

  • Maintaining diary management using Outlook; ascertain which events require the Director’s presence, fix commitments to maximize time efficiency
  • Working closely with senior members of the team to plan business trips including contacting potential business contacts to arrange meetings
  • Arranging travel arrangements through our travel agent; preparing itinerary, trip file and supplies where necessary
  • Organize bi yearly Operating Partners Conference
  • Completing expense reports
  • Drafting follow up correspondence (thank you letters, information requests) that can be reviewed and then sent by senior managers
  • Edit/create small presentations as needed for conferences or meetings
  • Screening of incoming calls in order to control interruptions, handle inquiries within own capacity
  • Liaising with a number of people within Angelo Gordon world-wide, assuring discreet handling of business
  • To undertake other duties not specifically stated above, which from time to time are necessary for the effective performance of the Directors / business
  • Replace Office Manager during her absence (and vice versa).

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience as an Executive Assistant / PA in a corporate fast-paced work environment
  • Fluent Dutch and English (written and spoken)
  • Living in (or very nearby) Amsterdam
  • Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office
  • Well-developed capacity for communicating at different internal and external levels
  • High level of personal responsibility and a proactive approach to tasks
  • High commitment to providing service, co-operating and working within a team
  • Flexibility (no 9 to 5 mentality)
  • Time Management skills; ability to work to tight, short deadlines
  • Considerable experience of working on your own initiative, developing systems and seeking imaginative solutions
