Provide operational support to staff and clients for related EHSS programs.
Ensure compliance with Amgen policies/procedure and Dutch legislation related to EHSS.
Participate in emergency response operations (BHV/ERT)



Knowledge of basic principles, methods, and practices of professional field
Typically obtained through formal study
General knowledge of procedures and activities within own work area

General understanding of industry practices and standards

Position Specific Tasks

Responsibilities EHSS Associate:

Provide contractor management support by work permit control, safety field inspections and follow up of safety plans.

Provide project/change support by safety inspections and follow up of performed EHSS assessments
Perform operational activities within EHSS area’s/disciplines (Safety, Environment, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene)
Maintain EHSS programs, procedures, system and documentation.
Support EHSS programs and deliver professional support and advise to clients
Responds to routine safety and compliance queries
Ensures monthly EHSS updates and tracking of incidents, SEE cards and CAPA’s
Ensure monthly reporting of EHSS data

Participate in the BHV/ERT organization


Incident and injury registration system (INCA)
Global Environmental Tracking System (GETS)

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge or the equivalent.

Minimum Requirements:

(MBO/HBO) Degree in scientific area
Typically 0-3 year of related professional experience
Fluency in Dutch and English, both in verbal and written communication

Preferred Requirements
Prior experience in BHV / ERT
Knowledge of information management and database administration
