Philips Design is looking for a Ergonomics expert / Human Factors Engineer.
You will be responsible for getting the right information, make sure the stakeholders (project team) is aligned and involved in your work (actively approach stakeholders.). Do task analysis, look for information in applicable norms/standards/books, make ergonomics & user requirements, review prototypes, discuss/ presenting it to the stakeholders.
There are different requests from within design and the BU’s within Philips Healthcare (& consumer) to support with usability and ergonomics in hardware (and software) product design. This can vary from small questions; e.g. what kind of button do I need for this type of action? To bigger questions, e.g.: Help us to define the user scenarios and the functionality that is needed for this product. Give input on the design, the position of buttons, screen, etc. that matches the mental model of the user and is suitable for a large user population.
