For our client DAF Trucks we are looking for an Senior Electronics Engineer, Product / System Owner


As Senior Electronics Engineer, you are responsible for the development of a new vehicle systems platform. This platform consist of an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) and System software concept, which will be leading for the development of several individual ECU’s. On this platform, new generation’s vehicle functions will be implemented. The platform will be used on Paccar trucks worldwide. For this vehicle platform you will be responsible for the:

  • Definition of the requirements
  • Communication with stakeholders within the Paccar organization
  • Supplier selection and supplier project management
  • Testing
  • Production release
  • Development and rollout of necessary processes and tools for the rollout and use of the platform

The department Product Development Electrical Systems is responsible for the application and development of all electrical and electronic vehicle systems. The majority of the development is outsourced however; there is a growing trend towards in-house development of application software.

  • Relevant technical education minimum on Bachelor level
  • Good knowledge regarding automotive safety architecture and standards (ISO 26262)
