Are you experienced within Sales Support or Customer Service? Are you looking for a managerial position? We are currently looking for a Customer Service Manager?

In this position you will provide technical and commercial sales support to the global sales organization. The Sales Support Manager leads the team of Sales Support Engineers and Contract Managers, who work closely with the regional sales organizations, sales representatives, product specialists, and internally with project management, engineering and the supply chain to offer tailor made solutions for specific applications and customer needs


Duties and Responsibilities

Bid Stage process

  • An active reflection towards Internal Sales to understand the customer-customer question
  • Check offers for completeness and authorization according to delegation of authorities
  • Stimulating knowledge sharing in the regions
  • Continuous development of technical sales support engineers
  • Timely and correct information provision to intercompany colleagues.
  • Recognize growth opportunities today

Order Entry Process

  • Review customer orders for completeness
  • Review sales order’s commercially
  • Presiding order intake consultation
  • The correct transfer of the sales order and the order information to the engineering department
  • Be monitors the management of customer cards in MDM and SAP together with the data team
  • Continuous development of sales support administrators
  • Timely and correct confirmation of customer orders
  • Understood the order file due to engineering

Order process management

  • Follow up agreements with customers confirmed by a top-down approach
  • Guiding the imported sales orders throughout the company
  • Guidance of escalation towards both the customer and internal organization
  • Overview in order book about the different regions
  • Review orders, identify problems early, address and follow up
  • Track process milestones such as drawing approvals and inspection data
  • Continuous development of contract managers
  • Identify scope changes and estimate commercial consequences

Communicate with the customer

  • Constructive thinking from the customer and for the organization.
  • Based on information obtained from the organization to inform the client timely and proactively;
  • Customer friendly approach and on an individual basis;
  • Commit formalization and link it to internal phase gates

Excellent Remuneration



  • HBO+ work and thinking level, preferably a completed HTS study program in the field of mechanical engineering or technical business administration;


  • Strong work experience, of which a relevant experience as manager in a technical ,commercial and international environment;
  • Knowledge of / or affinity with technical products for applications in the oil and gas industry;
  • Commercial attitude
  • People manager
  • Strong experience as a direct supervisor
  • Excellent control of MS-Office, especially Excel;
  • Control of SAP, SAP-BW;


  • Good English language skills is required;
  • Good level German language skills or any European language is a plus
