We are looking for a high level, near native English Career Development Coordinator for a worldwide consultancy firm in Amsterdam. Primary Career Development (CD) responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own CD process and policies
  • Contact for day-to-day CD questions
  • Gather, analyse and summarize relevant career development data for and prepare the CD-review-, upward feedback- and bonus meetings for consulting staff; support the preparation of the individual Career Development files for reviews and global submissions
  • Apprenticeship: review periodically the allocation of CD advisors and sponsors to consulting staff; ensure career management process addresses diverse needs of new recruits
  • Prepare and play an active role in CDC meetings; monitor decisions to be taken and actions agreed upon
  • Request, chase and track evaluations and upward feedback and monitor response. Support in technical (CD Online) tools. Support and provide information to CD Advisors
  • Administer all promotions, MBA sponsoring, ambassadorships
  • Responsible for the on boarding of new hires
  • Support the implementation of local, European and global CD initiatives, process improvements and policy development

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Sound knowledge of and fluency in Dutch and English
  • Computer proficient; MS Office, Outlook, Internet and Excel spreadsheet and preferably database skills
