We are looking for an Account Manager based in the vicinity of Rijswijk (Z-H). Your interest and experience is in the process industry like Oil & Gas, Power and Chemical in the Instrumentation business. As a sales professional, you are responsible for the sales budget in your area for existing and new customers, you have a huge drive for results and are a team player.
You are able to:
- Maintain and develop existing customer relationships through high levels of service to expand and strengthen the relationship
- Prepare a sales account plan for assigned sales territory together
- Prepare and execute product presentations and product introductions
- Develop new relationships and profitable new business
- Meet a defined sales target to achieve and operate within established policy guidelines
- Manage sales cycles from lead to closure
- Communicate customer needs and requirements to internal departments
- Have good insight in activities/capabilities/performance of local competition
- Regularly update in sales administration tools
- Perform in accordance with the relevant Emerson procedures like ethics and trade compliance
As Account Manager for Emerson Automation Solutions (offices in Rijswijk, Sittard and Diegem (B) you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.

To qualify, your CV needs to demonstrate:
- At least 3 years relevant sales experience in the process industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level in related field
- Aspires high level of sales, negotiation and presentation skills
- Computer Literate (MS Office, with excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint)
- Business development and communications skills
- Verbal and written communication skills fluent in Dutch and English
- Knowledge on measurement technologies
- Knowledge of Emerson products/solutions is an advantage
