As a Quality Technician, your first mission is to assess the quality of the logistical processes and the materials processed in Warehouse 21.

A Quality Technician:

  • Executes an operational task based on a defined work instruction
  • Acts on first cause analysis if operation goes wrong
  • Solves (simple) problems and provides basic reporting
  • Organizes activities and interaction with other departments
  • Contributes to continuous quality improvement

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Quality monitoring: as a Quality Technician you monitor quality, find quality detractors and communicate plans with your team leader
  • Reporting & Logging: to structurally improve found quality issues reporting in a clear a transparent way is essential. Logging Disturbance Notifications (DN) and Material Notifications (MN) are key for ASML’s solving systems, ASML Issue Resolution
  • Continuous Improvement: a Quality Technician’s scope goes beyond the day to day operation. Taking 2 steps back and looking at the overall process to find improvements is part of this function. Creating and selling Quality ideas to the team leader. Creating momentum in the group to implement Quality improvements

Education & Experience
MBO level (logistics discipline) or 2-3 years of significant operational experience in Quality and/or Logistics

Personal skills

  • Process way of thinking, customer orientation
  • Able to make (last minute) changes happen
  • Communication/presentation skills both in English and Dutch language
  • Goal-oriented, flexible and drive for initiative
  • A good Team worker & -builder with social skills, hands-on and a service attitude


  • Is able to work according to and understands the standard QPI procedures, guidelines and handbook
  • Is able to work independently with limited supervision: more freedom of acting in Planning and priority setting (with team Leader)
  • Starts to analyse more complex problems and proposes direction of solution
  • Is self supporting in conducting operational activities based on specific skills
  • Is able to adapt and apply theoretical know how in practical situations
  • Is able to treat complex parts and modules conform procedures, work instructions, drawings and possible instructions from colleagues
  • Participates in improvement initiatives in product or manufacturing process related to area of expertise
  • Deals with semi complex technical uncertainties within own scope of influence and expertise
  • Has technical skills and knowledge on a level 3
  • Delivers improvement proposal to the Team Leader
  • Is able to provide reporting on time and with sufficient quality
