Has primary responsibility for instrumentation, electrical and analyzer project engineering safety and quality. Responsible for the development of a safe project, the most economical execution, while meeting process design, operations and maintenance requirements.
Has direct communication and interference’s with the plants maintenance coordinator, shift supervisors, jobleaders and core specialists of ExxonMobil’s Engineering and Research team in order to ensure that the project intent is satisfied. Is also familiar with civil and mechanical aspects of projects. Is responsible for cost control, project reporting, schedule control and follow-up on construction activities.

Requires an experience in engineering as well as good communication skills, in order to maintain good plant contacts and ensure field follow-up. Project planning and coordination of I/A/E part of projects can be expected. He/she has to be familiar with civil and mechanical skills. He/she has to be experienced in the electrical and instrumentation/analyzer skills. Familiarity with Engineering International Practices, the Site Standards and the National as well as International Codes is a must. He/she should have in-depth knowledge of Instrument/Electrical/Analyzer requirements in the plants. Also an extensive knowledge of safety and construction procedures and practices. All interfaces with the organization and contractors require effective interpersonal skills. Needs a helicopter view to oversee consequences of actions, to set priorities between plant and project, and to solve problems between specialists, contractors, engineers, maintenance and operations
