ITEC, Nexperia’s in-house equipment supplier, develops, supplies and services world’s fastest pick & place equipment and testers for (discrete) semiconductors. ITEC equipment and solutions play an important role in the roadmap towards cost leadership in Nexperia’s assembly and test sites in Asia. The ITEC Product Support, Service and Supply Chain Management teams are located in Hong Kong.For ITEC Nijmegen, we are looking for an enthusiastic, result-driven Development Manager with a solid track record in the semiconductor test arena.


Resource Management

  • Direct resource manager for the development team managers across all disciplines in the ITEC development organization (assembly, test, factory automation): recruiting, performance management, competence management, engagement
  • Overall responsible for ITEC development resource allocation, chair PRMOT or delegate
  • Develops and implements blueprint of ITEC Development Team in line with ITEC Vision

Operational Management

  • Decides on ITEC development yearplan in agreement with the product groups
  • Secures projects in the ITEC development yearplan are executed from PES to R-gate per agreed deliverables, requirements, time schedule, budgets and quality. Chairs PRB or delegates
  • Decides on PCA to V-gate milestones within the MT
  • Overall responsible for ITEC NL Facilities (eg Assy & Test Workshop)

Financial Responsibility

  • Owns ITEC development budget, provides input for AOP/RFF process, controls the spend and reports on appropriate actions in case of deviations
  • Owns ITEC development funding, secures development activities are covered at the agreed level by the business partners in alignment with the responsible account manager

Improvement Processes

  • Owns and drives continuous improvement for the ITEC product creation process
  • Owns and drives continuous improvement for the ITEC project portfolio & pipelining process
  • Owns and drives continuous improvement for the EHS process on the development site

Strategic & Business Management

  • Define strategy to secure funding and maximize ROI of ITEC development organization in alignment with PG’s and Business Development Manager
  • Sets direction for ITEC development organization towards best in class development performance in methodology and processes
  • Realize an environment that attracts technical top talent with a continuous challenge to grow
  • Pulls new technology and competence need from the innovation team
  • Pulls market requirements from the operations team

ITEC MT Member

Member of the ITEC Management Team:

  • Reporting to ITEC General Manager
  • Strategically: with MT colleagues defining ITEC strategic direction in business, development, operations & people and owning initiatives to execute accordingly
  • Operationally: Active role in MT review processes and performance beyond own domain providing teams with constructive feedback and supporting to resolve roadblocks


  • Maintains a strong network with package development teams & managers as well as product development teams & managers at the BG’s and external customers
  • Maintains a strong network with assembly equipment industry (partners, suppliers, competitors) to secure ITEC development competences, technologies and processes are at industry benchmark level

  • Master's degree in technical domain (mechanics, electronics, software, physics)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering/development management preferably in semiconductor industry
  • Experienced in program/project management and relevant processes
  • People manager driving performance, competence and engagement
  • Focused on results through clear responsibilities and lean processes
  • Track record in managing teams of technical professionals, driving change and improvement
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, high credibility
