As a Project Manager you work in the Projects Department (app 25 projectmanagement, construction management and supervision employees). This department is responsible for the management of multidisciplinary projects within the process industry. With a strong focus on industrial, food and pharmaceutical projects.


You are responsible for the realisation of the set targets for the engineering and/ or construction projects (conceptual-, basic-, detail design and execution). You will stay in close contact with your client(s) and team. By organizing the projects correctly, motivating your team, an open and clear communication, you know how to get the job done and get the best result.

You are a generalist and have the (creative, conceptual) engineering knowledge to understand what the projects are about. Your multidisciplinary way of thinking makes you able to adjust the disciplinary team if necessary and you make decisions when needed. You can describe yourself as an (extrovert) entrepreneur with commercial skills: continuity of the (new) projects is no problem for you!
You are flexible and aware of what it takes to work in a project environment. As a leader your communication is clear, you can inspire, motivate and captivate people on all levels. You have a natural focus on client expectations and know how to manage these. Negotiating and getting contradictorily opinions closer together has no secrets for you. Above all you are analytical and able to set priorities, for yourself and for your team, to achieve the project goals.

  • A Technical Master degree in, for example, Mechanical- or Chemical Engineering
  • 4 years’ proven successful experience within multidisciplinary engineering projects as a (lead) engineer and 3 years’ experience as a (junior) multidisciplinary engineering project manager / project engineer
  • Knowledge of PMBOK or Lean principals
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language is a requirement, German would be benificial
