Are you a team player that likes to have a leading role in solving challenging technical issues in a manufacturing environment? Do you want to contribute to improve Twinscan® factory processes by using LEAN principles?

Be in the lead as a problem owner to drive technical solutions for sustaining XT products. Minimize downtime and reduce waste in the production and troubleshoot the processes of XT products from end to end: during module build, system integration, system performance, system pack and installation at the customer site.


Our ASML Twinscan® systems are divided in submodules. You will be a troubleshooting technical expert on system layout, having in depth knowledge on software and electrical layouts and flow and temperature systems. If you are challenged by resolving complex technical issues in a structural way, this is the right job for you! Besides troubleshooting you will also play and important role within a cross-sectorial team to improve our primary production process in order to reduce waste.

  • Take ownership of escalated issues to contribute to rapid solutions of complex technical issues
  • Be the last escalation line for solving technical problems of ASML Twinscan® XT systems and therefore working on regular basis in a cleanroom environment with our customers
  • Be able to clearly communicate the status of technical issues to all stakeholders
  • Manage escalations in the factory and during install by involving different sectors like D&E, Manufacturing and/or Install Engineers
  • Occasionally you need to travel for installation support requests
  • Prevent disturbances from re-occurring by implementing containments and initiating structural solutions to add value to our primary production process
  • Increase the competence maturity of layout competence by coaching production and troubleshoot engineers
  • Be able to define manufacturing requirements based on Lessons Learned for ASML’s people, products and processes

  • BSc or MSc technical degree in: Software, Electronics, Applied Physics, Mechanics or Mathematics
  • Experience with high-tech products and complex production processes
  • Familiar with LEAN processes
  • Proven work experience in analysis of complex problems
  • Project/escalation management skills
  • Knowledge on software, electronics or flow and temperature system of ASML Twinscan® systems
