For Canon, a world leader in imaging solutions, Océ Technologies as part of the Canon group, develops and produces solutions for the Graphic Arts flatbed and roll-to-roll market as well as for the Graphic Arts market and the CAD/ GIS market. In this dynamic world of Wide Format Printing we have a great career opportunity for an experienced proactive Service Product Specialist Graphic Arts or as a Service Product Specialist CAD/GIS.
As Service Product Specialist you are responsible to detail serviceability, service programs and service tooling for innovative products. After introduction you support regional service organizations realizing their service targets.
As part of a product team you drive service concepts and quality processes during product development by translating service objectives in technical specifications in conjunction with Product Development (R&D) and Manufacturing. To realize set service performance targets you define and discuss design requirements with respect to serviceability. You are a true technical service product champion in every aspect for one or more Wide Format Printing Systems.
To be successful you liaise next to your key stakeholders at R&D and Manufacturing, also with the Training department to ensure availability of training (material) and documentation required to service the product(s) and systems. You make risks apparent on a product, part, systems and/or process level to safeguard product quality and to (co-)create a successful, winning and value-adding product for the customers.
You fully support Canon Regional Sales organizations (RSHQs) during and after the introductory phase and provide technical advice during escalations, safeguarding (product) quality standards. During a product’s lifecycle you actively pursue customer/user feedback in order to prevent and solve (quality) issues when they arise, and take action towards your stakeholders to meet expectations. You resolve issues, coordinate problem solving with external parties, and make sure necessary actions that require follow up are taken. You ensure that there is close cooperation with all parties concerned - customers, R&D, Manufacturing, Canon Regional Sales organizations (RSHQs) - and that adequate solutions are generated that eventually contribute to that great customer satisfaction where Océ service is world famous for.
This position is based in Venlo, the Netherlands. In this role you report to the Manager Service & Support Wide format Printing Systems.

Service & Support WFPS
Within the business unit Wide Format Print Systems the team of Service & Support (S&S) is responsible for realizing the service objectives for the CAD/GIS (technical documentation) and GA (Graphic Arts) product range. Service & Support is therefore involved in the whole process from product development to technical support in the field.
The worldwide market value for digital flatbed printing is growing year-over-year. This growth is due to placements and growth of print volume and associated services and ink revenues. Océ is the global leader in digital flatbed printing and is still growing market share.
For high quality indoor and outdoor roll-to-roll graphics, a market that has been growing at double-digit rates over the last years, recently Océ Technologies introduced a new 64 inch roll-to-roll printer, using the new UV gel technology, designed to deliver exceptional productivity.
Next to the Graphic Arts activities, Océ Technologies provides high quality solutions for Wide Format CAD/GIS applications. Today B&W and Colour solutions generate a significant amount of revenues year-over-year with new placements and related services.

- A technical college education, preferably Bachelor of engineering or Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology or an equivalent area
- At least three years of experience within the technical customer service area
- Preferred, proven knowledge of Graphic Arts flatbed and roll-to-roll printing systems
- An open minded and professional attitude
- A team player, highly motivated and communicative
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English verbal and written
- (Technical) Expert with strong planning/project management skills, decisive and a pro-active attitude
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- A strong, results-driven mind-set
- Self-starter with tenacity to focus on opportunities and quality in a challenging international environment with multiple stakeholders
- Willing to travel international occasionally
