A challenging international position for a starter, graduated in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, with 0-2 years of working experience after graduation, and looking for a commercial career within a global leading technology company. You combine your strong interpersonal skills and your chemistry education in this challenging and strongly multi-disciplinary environment.
In this role Technical Sales Representative, you will act as a technical advisor to several customers in the oil and gas industry, on production chemical use and application of the (customized) product portfolio. In this way you make the translation between the customers’ problems/needs on the one hand and the own technical labs on the other. By managing projects, you serve the customer base in Continental Europe by selling solutions, providing value to the customer by making their operations more effective and/or efficient. You interface with colleagues on Research & Development, Supply Chain, Business Development and your Sales colleagues. You assist with building and developing strong relationships with customers.
The job is very versatile and will entail working from Nalco Champion office, visit customers and (offshore/onshore) customer production facilities.
This role is an opportunity to develop knowledge in all aspects of account management and production chemistry. An internal training program will be offered to ensure familiarity with the product portfolio. There are clear opportunities to advance your career within the district or at other location across the globe.
You work from Nalco Champion Leiden office, or from the office in the Enschede area.
You will be part of the Nalco Champion Continental Europe team, consisting of several sales colleagues, and you will be reporting to the Area Manager Western Europe.

- MSc or BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- 0-2 years of working experience in chemical or oil and gas industry

- Willing to travel 30-40%, to offshore and onshore visits Western Europe
