The Global Key Account Manager will be responsible for some of the most important Key Accounts globally within the Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania segment. The Global Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a Key Account Plan for the account portfolio. You will focus on strengthening the customer relationship and commercial position, drive profitable growth and increase the share of wallet with the Key Accounts. The main focus is currently in Europe, and therefore the preferred location of the job would be in Western Europe. The role reports to the Category Director.
Key responsibility listed:
  • Develop the Key Account Plan around the business opportunities within the key account(s)
  • Develop new business opportunities in the whole segment for the account(s)
  • Develop customers relationships of the accounts
  • Set and achieve the financial objectives for the accounts
  • Responsible of any reporting, account presentations and communication internally and towards the customer
  • Lead the local Huhtamaki business unit Key Account Manager teams across the segment
  • If relevant, collaborate activities also with the KAMs in North America segment or other Huhtamaki segments
  • Coordinate any new item projects from the quotation to real product in the market on time with the local unit project team
  • Be the first point of contact (and possibly taking the project manager role) towards the customer in any issues, new ideas and projects in relation to the Quality, Environment and NPD

Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania is one of Huhtamaki Group's four business segments.   • Proven experience in developing and implementing account strategies that will lead to sustainable revenue and profit growth for the business
  • Experience in leading growth that will deliver substantial revenue across multiple product areas and markets
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to build robust working processes and alignment across different geographies within the accounts and internally
  • Ability to establish, maintain and influence effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Good business acumen and ability to seize opportunity to win profitable business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is a must, others are advantage)
  • Financial acumen and robust analytical skills to build insights and draw conclusions from a large set of data
  • Ability to develop and present business plans, strategies and present results to all levels of organization and internal and external stakeholders
  • Outgoing, strong relationship builder

  • Education: BS/BA degree with min 7 years of experience, Masters or MBA preferred
