ASML is an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry. We provide microchip makers with everything they need – hardware, software and services – to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography.

Within ASML the Development & Engineering cluster is responsible for the specification and the design of ASML products. In this cluster, the department Software Quality & Integration (SQI) maintains the test infrastructure used by software projects, specifies, executes and controls the testing and integration of the various software deliveries into a software release.

Job mission:

The software test infrastructure engineer is responsible for the tooling which is used to schedule test-scenarios, execute test-scenarios and maintain test machine installations. Test requirements and the underlying technology are constantly evolving, and the tooling must therefore be able to meet current and future demands. The engineer is expected to play a part in this w.r.t. design, development and maintenance.

It is expected that you can think and work in terms of:

  • Manage and maintain a software stack instrumental in meeting ASML’s product roadmap and quality standards
  • Debugging issues on application and operating system level (Linux)
  • Carrying a change from collecting requirements, design, testing to release

Profiel

It is expected that you can think and work in terms of:

Education and experience

Education:

  • Bachelor or Master Level – Technical
  • Preferred area of education is Computer Science

Preferred experience:

  • Developing according to a Software Development Life Cycle process
  • Use Agile/SCRUM
  • Linux experience (at least 5 years)
  • Continuous integration experience
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Extensive Python knowledge
  • Experience in VCS tools like Github or bitbucket
  • Knowledge of shell scripting
  • Knowledge of PHP
  • Knowledge of Javascript
  • Knowledge of database management (SQL)
  • Knowledge of software packaging (RPM)
  • Knowledge of Django (pre)
  • Knowledge of Typescript (pre)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (pre)
