You will lead technical development of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems for running business.


As Coordinator Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EAS) you are responsible for the development of the aftertreatment performance. Within the Exhaust Aftertreatment Performance team, you will coordinate tasks for Running Business project deliverables.

Your tasks:

  • Running Business problem solution realization in close cooperation with internal and external development partners
  • Lead in technical design reviews with performance team
  • Lead in software and calibration content release for RB and new projects
  • Report project deliverables and development status to Supervisor en Project Lead
  • Planning and development of validation test activities for heavy-duty engine Exhaust Aftertreatment System tests on engine dyno’s and vehicles
  • Application support for vehicle related engine Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems
  • Contact with the product improvement reliability team (After Sales)
  • Close cooperation with Running Business project lead

The Engine Integration & Validation department is among others responsible for the integration of the engine and after treatment into an optimized system working together with all types of vehicles. This integrated system should have excellent fuel efficiency and robust emission performance. We are currently looking for an engineer who is able to deep-dive into several questions in the field of engine performance in the broadest sense of the word. The goal is to increase understanding of the current barriers with regard to fuel efficiency, driveability, transient performance, etc., and to improve it where possible.

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • Knowledge in the field of thermodynamics, combustion and control engineering
  • Minimal 3 years’ experience in the field of diesel or Exhaust Aftertreatment applications
  • Structured working approach combined with pleasure to work in teams
  • Enthusiasm to deal with planning of test activities for complex engine Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems
  • Experience with planning and data analysis tools
  • Accurate and good communication skills
  • Good English and Dutch skills are mandatory
