Vanderlande provides baggage handling systems for 600 airports around the globe, capable of moving over 4 billion pieces of baggage around the world per year. For the parcel market our systems handle 52 million parcels per day. All these systems generate data.   • You will carry out user research, interview and surveys to understand the users needs and requirements
  • You are able to conceptualize these requirements and interaction on designs under the guidance of senior UX designers
  • You will designing mockups and high-fidelity user interfaces of the dashboards together with senior UX designer
  • You will participate in design usability test led by senior UX designer and can carry out design usability test and gather feedback independently
  • You can clearly communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
  • You will continuously improving the user experience related to the dashboards layout and new features based on usability test and user feedbacks
  • You will develop personas and usage scenarios together with commercial product managers

To be discussed


  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or HCI or equivalent practical experience, preferably 1-2 years relevant work experience
  • Conceptual, analytical and creative thinker with a proactive attitude and ability to learn
  • Experience with analyzing user needs and product requirements to create a design
  • Ability to translate high level of empathy for various user perspectives into detailed interfaces
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with Adobe XD, Sketch and/or Photoshop
  • Knowledge of the front-end development languages or styling frameworks e.g., HTML, CSS and JavaScript, is a plus
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers and clients
  • Acts as a team player, whilst being self-directing
  • Fluent in English, both orally and written, Dutch is seen as an advantage
