For DAF Trucks in Eindhoven, YER is Looking for an ambitious Account Manager Ecommerce, who manages the eCommerce growth, introduction and roll-out of other marketing programs and dealer support tools in various countries. It's a role for 37,5 hours per week (7,5 per day), and will initially be for 12 months. After the 12 months, there is a possibility of being taken over by DAF.


eCommerce and Dealer Support Tools

The eCommerce and Dealer Sales Support Tools team focuses on growing our customer eCommerce business and supports the sales force of our dealers with multiple tools and systems. The support tooling is a mix of digital and non-digital systems, tools and communication means from PACCAR Parts to dealers and customers.

The team develops and maintains product roadmaps, based on customer needs and market feedback. Opportunities for new programs and systems are identified together with stakeholders and requirements are prioritized and provided to the Development organization. Developed functionality needs to be introduced to the market making sure that it is being used and the defined business targets are met.

The team works together with the DAF Sales Units to reach our eCommerce revenue and customer growth targets and is also responsible for rolling out our sales analysis tool called FOCUS. This tool enables our dealers to identify customer-specific buying behavior and sales opportunities.

Responsibilities and objectives

  • Achieving eCommerce targets and, together with the Sales Unit, create sales plans per country;
  • Make sure that Sales Units and dealers reach their agreed eCommerce retail sales targets. Create a recovery plan in case of running behind
  • Make sure that the agreed number of new dealers and customers are connected to eCommerce;
  • Make sure that customers and dealers are using the system. Achieve the target on active users;
  • Training of new Sales Unit and dealer employees on the system, especially when new features are introduced;
  • Introduce new promotions and campaigns to Sales Units, dealers and customers;
  • Provide consultancy and help to Sales Units, dealers and customers on how to best use the system;
  • Be responsible for the success of agreed features such as sales promotions, scan app, consignment stock, etc.;
  • Run customer and dealer pilots for new functionality and features;
  • Understanding and collecting dealer and customer feedback, benefits and barriers for using the Webshop.

Achieving FOCUS targets

Together with the Sales Unit FOCUS, create sales plans per country, focusing on connecting new dealers and making sure that dealer sales employees are using the tool. Introduce FOCUS to dealers where relevant based, on the agreed introduction and roll-out plan, while providing consultancy and helping the Sales Units and dealers how to best use FOCUS. PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is a PACCAR division with a dynamic and challenging environment. PPE is responsible for the sales of spare parts to over 1,000 DAF dealers, TRP stores and customers around the world. To satisfy our customers’ ‘one stop shop’ requirement, PACCAR Parts sells DAF and PACCAR branded parts for DAF truck applications and TRP branded parts for other manufacturers of trucks and trailers. PPE has employees in all major European markets and PACCAR Distributions Centers (PDC) in the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Hungary, Russia, Panama and Brazil.

For this challenging job, we would like to meet with candidates with over three years of marketing and sales experience in high-tech international business markets, preferably in the aftermarket for spare parts.

  • You have a relevant bachelor or master degree, for example Marketing;
  • Account management experience, preferably in dealing with independent indirect channels such as a dealer network;
  • You have affinity with eCommerce solutions. You are able to understand customer needs and translate that into business requirements;
  • You are able to think from a customer perspective. You are pro-active, self-starting and you can make things happen;
  • You take initiative, have a high energy drive, and you are prepared to go extra mile. A good communicator, with the ability to convince and strong stakeholder management;
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, ability to multi-task. You have strong communication skills and are able to write and present fluently in English;
  • Knowledge of other European languages such as German is preferred;
  • Willingness to travel, up to 33%.
