For our top semiconductor client in Nijmegen, we are looking for a Project Manager with a background in semiconductor/manufacturing.
Leading large multi-disciplinary development and industrialization projects.
Knowledge and experience
Master’s degree and/or experience in extensive development and project experience with theoretical and practical knowledge of project management in the field of software (factory automation) mechatronic or electronic equipment in combination with product technology the equipment is designed for. Experience with operational management of specialists from various disciplines and organisations within a project is a pre, as professional education in the field of project management is.
The project manager leads one or more multi-disciplinary project teams. The way the projects are managed determine the success of E&A as a whole, and also for E&A customers. The projects are characterised by breakthroughs in technology, implying substantial risks (technically and/or organisationally) to be managed by the project manager adequately to minimise business impact.
The project manager has final responsibility for achieving the project goals in coop with the project team from the conceptual phase till full customer acceptance, within the boundaries set by the management.
To achieve such the project manager works together with a core team of specialists taking all project management phases, tools & techniques into account making use of the E&A PM WoW and templates available. Direct communication with suppliers and end-customers is a key element of the role.
Project & budget responsibility
The project manager has the complete project responsibility: from definition, incl. justification, till the realization of the project goals, as he/she laid down in the project plan, within the budgets granted.
