Within the ASML CISO department, the Security Office (SO) acts as the hub for all information relating to project & portfolio management of Information Security initiatives. The SO also supports IT/IS governance by introducing PPM/Portfolio SAFe guidelines and best practices and encouraging their adoption by the organisation.

Job Mission

The SO Risk Analyst is responsible for analysing and improving the IT portfolio of Information Security (IS) initiatives on risk related topics and its associated governance processes. He/she acts as an advisor to IT leaders on PPM)/SAFe with regard to risks. Additionally, the role will be expected to plan and execute the merger of separate existing risk registers into one ASML Security Risk Register instance to be managed centrally. He/she reports to the Risk Manager.

Job description

This expert role will be accountable for the following:

  • Overseeing the IS Portfolio of initiatives regarding Risks
  • Analyse project and portfolio data, develop metrics & benchmarks, and provide insightful reporting to support management decisions
  • Ensure a rigorous follow-up of all initiatives and their compliance with data quality and governance standards
  • Perform Risks analysis, assess the coherence and dependencies and propose mitigating measures
  • Maintain IS Portfolio evolutions regarding risks
  • Participate in the improvement of project and portfolio management methodologies when it concerns Risks
  • Plan and execute the merger of separate existing risk registers into one ASML Security Risk Register instance to be managed centrally
  • Support processes and standards of documentation activities in a centralised as well as on knowledge base
  • Act as a liaison, jointly with the Risk Manager, between business departments and CISO/SO by educating stakeholders about risk practices and identifying areas for improvement

Candidate profile

Education

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience (e.g. project management, PMO support, business analysis)

Experience

  • Experience working in a PMO group is strongly preferred
  • Experience working within an IT department; having worked in a CISO department is strongly preferred
  • Expert-level knowledge of Excel required, macro programming experience preferred
  • Expert-level knowledge of collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, JIRA)
  • Expert-level knowledge of PowerPoint required for creating dashboards and reports
  • Strong understanding of project management and IT governance (e.g. SAFe, Agile/Scrum, ISO27001, PMBoK, ITIL)
