At the moment we are looking for high potential candidates for various Intern and Trainee positions. NIBC offers graduates (with a maximum of two years of working experience) the opportunity to participate in NIBC’s Talent Program. This one year program is developed for those who have recently graduated from university and are interested in a career in banking. Working and learning-on-the-job is alternated with targeted training and development activities.
For the intern position both Bachelor and Master students are welcome to apply.
The NIBC Corporate Banking Division covers a combination of advice, financing and co-investment activities. For every transaction they put together a hand-picked cross-discipline Corporate Banking team. They like to work in an effective and customer-oriented manner. They have expert sector knowledge in Food, Agri & Retail, Industries & Manufacturing, Technology, Media & Services, Commercial Real Estate, Shipping & Intermodal, Oil & Gas Services and Infrastructure & Renewables.

As a Trainee at NIBC you have the opportunity to participate in NIBC’s Talent Program. This program takes one year and is developed for those who have recently graduated from university and are interested in a career in banking. Working and learning-on-the-job is alternated with targeted training and development activities. The most important of which is a financial training program developed in combination with the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) of the Erasmus University, a top ranked business school and VDS. VDS is a training company with high qualified trainers and years of experience in i.e. training bankers. They developed an integrated program combines the academic/business approach of RSM with VDS’s approach to in depth personal development and training. Financial, professional and personal skills and experiences are addressed by professionals from RSM, VDS and NIBC managers. After completing the Analyst Program you will obtain a certificate.
To apply for the NIBC’s Talent Program you should have:
- Completed (or about to) a university degree, preferably in the field of finance, economics, business, sciences or engineering with distinctive academic results and extra-curricular successes
- Affinity with financial markets and its products, analytical and numerical skills, flexible attitude and ambition are important
- A can-do attitude, forward-thinking and result oriented nature
- Fluency in Dutch and English
