Job description

For ECCO Leather, YER would like to get in touch with a Controller. In this position, you will be responsible for the financial administration and reporting on BU level.

Most important tasks and responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets
  • Proactively engage with business partners to manage business and commercial challenges on day-to-day basis
  • Ensure compliance with ECCO Group and ECCO Leather Group policies
  • Implement, document, monitor and manage internal control environment
  • Proactively manage working capital
  • Tax (VAT) activities
  • Preparation and execution of annual group and statutory audits within required time limits
  • Provide the input for board meeting material

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor (HBO) degree in accounting or economics, through education or experience
  • +5 years of relevant experience in a production environment
  • Knowledge of SAP and BPC (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of reporting guidelines (e.g. IFRS)
  • Advanced knowledge of a production company, cost accounting and performance management
  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills
