As a Project Management Support Officer you are the key person in the area of project administration, analysis, reporting and planning for large scale technical projects. You drive and maintain high level quality for the operational performance of Philips Innovation Services.

Job description

Your responsibilities
As a Project Management Support Officer you contribute in the following focus areas:

• Project support:
o Setup and manage project administration for large technical projects
o Support the creation and modification of the overall project planning
o Support the project related capacity planning
o Support project related compliancy activities

• Project reporting and process improvement within the Project Management Office: the supporting back bone in the areas of reporting, analysis and process improvement.
o Periodical reporting with regards to project progress and finance
o Initiate and support process improvement projects

Activities involved:
• Pro-active internal and external communication concerning projects,
• You know your stakeholders and proactively manage and avoid surprises
• Single point for project managers,
• Administrate activities in project plans and other relevant systems,
• IT toolkit use: SAP, MS Projects, Business Warehouse, Qlikview, Sharepoint, MS Office and Outlook
• Execute business reporting and analysis,
• Incorporate in daily work Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle
• Acts as an informal but professional colleague within the group

Contract via YER for 6 month with the possibility to be extended

Candidate profile

We are looking for
• You have a Bachelor degree preferably or Technical Engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 years of (relevant) work experience
• Project management capabilities/experience
• Technical affinity
• Ability to manipulate large volume of data and translate into meaningful decision making information and documents,
• Strong MS Excel and MS Project skills is a must. Knowledge of other analytical software is a plus
• “Lean” knowledge and experience is a plus
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken
• The ability to not only signal issues but also generate alternative solutions
• Able to work independently and to display a helicopter view
