For NXP we are looking for an Infrastructure Architect/Workplace Architect.

Job description

Scope:
NXP is planning to migrate also the very specific Windows7 services to Windows10. These specific Windows7 services need to be mapped based on their current requirements to the NXP Solution Foundation and Designs for Windows10 and required adjustments need to be specified, reviewed and discussed within the team of Architects and Service managers. After approval process the documentation need to be adjusted and Design documentation can be created a and again go for review before the project plans can be drafted to enable these additional Workplace environments and start migrations.

Tasks and deliverables:

  • Update the Solution Foundation for Windows10 with the specific services on Factory Clients, all supported Secure environments and Citrix
  • Update the Solution Design for Windows10 to include the specific services on Factory Clients, all supported Secure environments and Citrix
  • Support the PM on the creation of a Sub-project plan to enable Windows10 on the specific services on Factory Clients, all supported Secure environments and Citrix

Candidate profile

The candidate need to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science or Electronics
  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience in designing and deploying enterprise level workplace services
  • Proven experience/expert knowledge in the following:
    • Workplace operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux)
    • Virtual desktop technologies (e.g. Citrix, VMware etc.)
    • Mobile Device and Application Management technologies (e.g. Intune, AirWatch)
    • Configuration management & deployment technologies (e.g. SCCM, Ansible)
    • Endpoint security technologies
  • Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies and processes (e.g. TOGAF) and service management methods and processes (ITIL)
  • Experience with outsourcing of IT services, RFP execution, vendor selection
  • Proven track record in technical architecture design, solution definition, project management/execution, change/risk management
  • Work experience from large, international companies and have dealt with or worked for global service providers
