The Emission After treatment Performance team develops After treatment System Calibrations for Heavy Duty diesel engines and is looking for an Engineer Exhaust After treatment Systems.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Release dedicated functional calibrations for vehicle and engine dyno testing
  • RCP software releases support
  • Data log list control
  • Calibration parameter (label POM list) & Fault code owner list
  • Track new software functionalities PRCR
  • Pre alpha engine dyno and HiL data processing, analysis and reporting
  • Software regression testing
  • Test cell support debugging new software interfaces (sensors, actuators etc.)
  • Organize and report Milestone reviews with supplier
  • Exhaust After treatment System (after-) maiden testing
  • Coordinate Exhaust Aftertreatement variant & field return testing

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree on mechanical/automotive engineering
  • Knowledge in the field of thermodynamics, combustion and control engineering
  • Preferable 3 years of diesel engine application experience on HD truck engine
  • First practical experience on diesel engine and Exhaust After treatment interactions between SCR and DPF
  • Structured working approach combined with pleasure to work in teams
  • Enthusiasm to deal with complex Engine – Exhaust After treatment Systems and to take much pleasure in development of solutions for complex technical problems
  • Experience with data set control tools, e.g. Calterm, AVL Creta and Matlab
  • Accurate and good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Good English skills are mandatory combined with willingness to learn Dutch
