Job description

Within ASML the Program Management Office (PMO) focuses on the development, deployment and improvement of the cross sector project maturity and program management. They provide mentoring and coaching to raise the project management maturity and quality level across ASML. Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to raise the project & program management maturity and quality level across ASML with focus on best practices
  • Raise project management maturity by driving effective and agile project management in the Cluster team
  • Drive cross-business line and sector collaboration to enable effective product strategy execution
  • Proactively assist and enable the Project Leaders and Cluster Managers to do their job: by preparing communication and/or escalations on the issues/risks and the required contingency/mitigation actions to the project sponsor and stakeholders
  • Is able to organize team structure and meeting rhythm
  • Develop, deploy and continuous improve PGP methodology, processes and supporting tools and drives adherence for Product Generation Process and challenges stakeholders & customers on triple constraint
  • Enable founded and effective cross-sector decision making at all levels in the business line by providing adequate, transparent and quality business information based on single source of truth
  • Is able to lead and implement cross PMO improvement and change projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the program management processes

Candidate profile

  • Master degree, preferably in the area of Business Engineering or Technical Business Administration
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Program Manager for large complex programs and detailed projects, or project management experience in a complex, multidisciplinary environment, or practical experience as a project manager in a dynamic and innovative high-tech organization
  • Excellent communicator, process skills and being able to influence without hierarchical power
  • Maintains personal effectiveness, even in demanding circumstances and stays open to change
  • Ability to deal with a high speed of change and uncertainty
  • Ability to guide, coach and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improving the project maturity level of the organization
  • Experience in leading professionals
  • Expert knowledge in the area of project management in a high-tech environment related to a product creation process
