Job description

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Actively studying and informing about trends and new technologies regarding assembly processes (including sustainability)
  • Specify and outsource the required processes, tools and equipment
  • Influence the product design to optimize production processes
  • Support and review the activities for equipment suppliers, including acceptance tests, production implementation and aftercare
  • Define and execute cost improvement and outsource projects for the use actively risk management tools (FMEA)
  • Apply standard working procedures and supplier base management tools and methods including DFSS improvement tools
  • Apply and improve knowledge and competence management activities
  • Active cooperation with team members and management


NPI (New Product Introduction) of Philips develops and realizes world-class industrialization solutions with passion for shavers, grooming and other CL products. NPI plans and implements integral architecture for the product, process and supply chain to improve cost agility, time to volume and sustainability.

NPI develops partnerships (turnkey suppliers) to speed up innovation and use their knowledge and state of the art technologies resulting to fast and smooth product launches. Implementing robust sustainable processes and equipment by applying Standard Work Industrialization and DFSS which will result in fast and smooth product launches.

Candidate profile

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanics/Technology
  • Experience in the field of design and tools is preferred
  • Experience with design methods
  • Six Sigma Trained (Green Belt) is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Decisive, result driven and creative team player
  • Can work autonomously and in teams
