Job description

Contribute to the portfolio Risk Management of Athlon Group. Major tasks in risk methods and parameter quantification are the development, enhancement and maintenance of the risk strategy and risk-return steering method of DFS. This comprises risk quantification based on Economic Capital, RoRAC pricing models and participation in planning and reporting processes at Athlon in line with DFS.

Your tasks will be:

  • Support of international Athlon companies in implementation and application of the risk management tools. Training of markets related to RORAC, including train the trainer
  • Development and enhancement of methods, models and tools for measurement of relevant risks, linked to Athlon specificities
  • Participate to calculation, verification and analysis of risk parameters (e.g. probabilities of default, loss given defaults)
  • Support of periodic and ad-hoc risk reporting and risk planning
  • Participation in projects in Risk Management and related Finance areas

Candidate profile

  • 5+ years of experience in comparable function
  • Experience with leasing is a must
  • Basic knowledge and experience with lease accounting and asset management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance/economics
  • Competencies regarding accessing data, creating reports from data and analysing data
  • Proven experience in international organizations
  • Ability to self-organize and to set priorities within assigned responsibilities
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, other European languages would be a plus
  • Flexibility/ability to travel internationally on frequent, short duration assignments
