The role of Architect is aimed to ensure that the transition into the new Oracle ERP system will roll out efficiently throughout the organization. Job description

You are responsible for the IT solutions that support the EMEA services solutions business development. 

Your main goal is to plan and design the structuring of technology that supports the business IT requirements. By providing expertise and guidance you will contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and further development of the ERP system. 

You are solving complex business problems by analyzing the situation and taking action where needed. Collaborating with a team of talented IT professionals to design, develop, and deploy solutions. You will be communicating the system requirements to the software development teams and ensure the tech solutions are delivered within the set time frame and budget. You communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, listen to their needs, and provide effective solutions that align with the business goals. 

You will be reporting to the Project Director and work closely together with the IT Service Applications lead for Acer & Enfinitec and both internal and external IT departments.

  • You are able to drive change and new initiatives regarding the IT landscape
  • You act as a problem solver and address technical issues by delegating or taking hands-on action
  • You oversee the assigned programs and provide guidance to team members
  • You stay in control regarding the development and maintenance of solutions
  • You follow up on the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
  • You are responsible for the collaboration framework

Candidate profile

As an Architect, you will contribute your strong technical expertise in the field of implementations, firsthand experience with software development and system administration, and a deep understanding of strategic IT solutions. You will have the opportunity to drive change and shape the future of the organization.

To be successful in the role we require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, information management or equivalent, and experience in either one or more of the fields of system analysis, software development, or implementation within an Oracle environment. 

Furthermore, we are looking for: 

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud technology (OIC, WMS, ERP)
  • Knowledge about SOA and various operating systems and databases
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational skills 
  • Excellent command of the English language, Dutch is optional
