The Sr. business analyst IT within Business Insights and Control is responsible for making financial data on IT spending transparent. You understand how to gather and interpret data and communicate this in a transparent way to your stakeholders. Within this role, you create insights for IT sector management, business control and general finance management.
Job description
As Sr. business analyst you are responsible for driving our IT business through efficient and effective financial reporting and analysis. Your goal is to provide relevant insights to finance business partners and IT management on recurring reporting, ad hoc requests and specific projects. Furthermore you support in companywide requests and financial planning processes (month end reporting, quarterly guidance setting and the (long term) financial budget).
Team responsibility
Together with the finance business partners you are responsible to:
- Translate OPEX and CAPEX data on IT into business driven and transparent forecasts
- Manage forecast and budget data, including project reporting and cross sector allocations
- Provide proactive support to the finance business partners, finance leadership, IT management and the various IT teams
- Actively seek for reporting improvements in our current processes and participate in projects

Candidate profile
- Master degree, preferably in the area of Business Economics. Most important, you understand financial data and are able to convey the message behind it and initiate and drive required actions.
- Experience: Large amounts of data are no problem for you and you have experience in cross sector collaborations, allocations and project reporting. For a thorough analysis, you have experience with SAP and excellent excel skills.
- Result oriented, team player, with excellent analytical skills and an interest in data analytics, critical thinking, proactive and communicative personality who can connect with relevant stakeholders in a demanding organization.
- You solve problems with the long term and global solution in mind
- Able to excite others to make most use of your analysis and data in general
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
