About this vacancy
For our Semiconductor client in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, we are looking for a Process Engineer. Your main task of the section is to sustain released IC processes, and improve them on quality, yield, reliability, cost, and cycle time to a benchmark level. The section is also responsible for a smooth introduction and rampup of new processes and products.
Job description
- Support the fab organization for complex process integration problems
- Translation of device problems to tool- or process problems
- Monitoring of process quality using Statistical Process Control, and imitation and execution of improvement actions
- Execution and management of process improvement actions in the areas of quality, reliability, yield, cost, productivity, defectivity and process performance, often in the form of projects or 8D teams
- Leading projects or 8D teams
- Tailoring product design and test sensitivities to process parameters

Candidate profile
- Master’s degree in applied science, electrical engineering or chemistry
- Preferable 2-3 year of work experience in IC technology and device engineering
- Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Precise, focus on quality result driven
- Take responsibility and initiative for achieving the objectives
- Experience of working in cross functional teams with high technical experience
- Experience in leading projects or activities
- Able to handle multiple projects or issues in parallel
- Demonstrated ambition to continuous learning
- Flexible and change oriented. Thinking out of the box to explore better work methods
- Strong handling of complexity
- Able to achieve excellent results under difficult circumstances
