Job description

You are responsible for testing and commissioning the delivered assets safely, on time and within budget.

Your main task is to draw up an overall plan of approach for commissioning activities for the various projects regarding gas as a medium to be transported. You are expected to process new knowledge and experience gained in a structured manner in the overall plan of approach. You ensure that the project-specific plan for commissioning is in line with the overall plan of approach. You can be asked to take on the commissioning in progress for one or more projects as a commissioning lead, but it is also possible that the execution is assigned to a commissioning lead. In the latter case, you manage the technical content of the commissioning lead.

A project-specific commissioning plan is drawn up for each project. You ensure that the daily commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with this commissioning plan and the associated commissioning schedule. These activities are performed by a team of commissioning technicians.

High risk awareness, clear communication and the ability to manage a team in a dynamic and operational environment are very important.

  • HBO/BSc work and thinking level
  • Technically oriented experience (WTB, E&I, Process Engineering)
  • Experience in managing commissioning processes in the oil and gas and (petro) chemical industry
  • Multidisciplinary experience is an advantage
