In the Applications Algorithms group we are responsible for the development and implementation of the common algorithms that are then used by other teams to develop applications to optimize the production process of our customers. We are a group of experts on mathematics, algorithms, numerical methods and software engineering.

We are looking for a new colleague with a solid software engineering expertise to further define and drive the next steps of our technology roadmap, with the primary goal to reduce lead-time of implementation, improve run-time performance, protection of IP, etc.

  • Collaborate with our team of experts developing or improving algorithms / mathematical models and occasionally also contribute to the development from a software point of view, with a focus on coaching others by hands on work.
  • Create a solid software design for algorithms or parts of it, where speed and memory usage should be optimized
  • Write clear documentation
  • All of the above in close collaboration with team members and stakeholders (e.g. Group lead, Product owner, …)
