Global Connectivity is the team that designs, builds and operates the core network infrastructure of the client. They are a diverse mix with over a hundred network professionals in different levels of seniority that support the network infrastructure and the related components. In the current evolution, they are transforming into a state of the art network capability and are looking for the right talent to help them in their journey.

Job description

  • Lead a team of around ten dedicated, internal and external, senior network engineers, who builds and operates a complex, secure network product / environment for the IT customers
  • Act as the primary contact for queries related to the product, communicate with clients and stakeholders, manage their expectations in line with overall priorities and team’s ability & capability to deliver
  • Overall responsibility for the product and its services, for seeing incidents and problems driven to conclusion including post-mortem phase, identifying root causes and improvement actions
  • Drive the resolution of seemingly ambiguous problems by applying a structured problem solving analysis
  • Estimate, prioritize, mediate and align in a diverse, open and interactive environment
  • Plan, adapt and execute the budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) related to the product
  • Understand the products that depend on the Secure Environments product and adapt the product vision and the product architectural runway to support their evolution,
  • Translate high level requirements into features then, along with the team, dive in an in-depth analysis to define user stories and acceptance criteria, which is understood and acknowledged
  • Inspire and motivate the team to deliver innovative solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency, embodying the SAFe® core values and meeting the auditing and certification constraints
  • Apply data-driven project approach to analyze customer requirements, examine business challenges and work closely with the team to formulate solutions
  • Collaborates with other Product Owners and Architects to understand current and future data based on analytics using high tech network monitoring tools
  • As part of the global role, work with peer Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects and central team to improve global services and processes
  • Adopt, support or integrate technology solutions and process improvement projects and methodologies to achieve operational and business goals

Candidate profile

  • A Bachelor’s degree with IT orientation
  • Certified SAFe® Product Owner / Product Manager or 2 year’s experience working in SAFe®
  • ITIL foundation or 4-5 year’s experience working with ITIL processes
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you find a way to overcome challenges being decisive and accept responsibility for your outcomes
  • Solid experience in the field of technical documentation and the ability to present complex interrelationships in an easy and understandable way
  • Constant desire to improve the status quo and improve your skills, learn from your mistakes and take continuous action on your ideas
  • Proactive and ongoing personality, able to manage ambiguity and drive features to completion in changing environments
  • Comfortable with planning, building a product roadmap and innovating our automation initiatives
  • Ability to evaluate networks security products and offer solutions in line with security guidelines
  • Common IT Network Security knowledge (Firewalls / 802.1x)
  • Common IT WAN/LAN experience (Cisco LAN and Datacenter LAN)
  • Common network tooling understanding
  • Ability to translate technical topics to IT management and IT management topics back to the technical team
