Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic Agile Test and Verification Designers who will be working globally with engineers in Eindhoven, in Bangalore, and with engineers in various locations in the USA on the above variety of projects/products. As Agile Test Designer, you are responsible for:

  • Preparing test strategies and plans, reviewing (functional and non-functional) requirements / stories / features for accuracy and testability. Defining test environments and associated tooling. Writing (test) tool validation protocols and performing tool validation
  • Developing test approaches, designs, and test specifications, and performing software testing (automated or manual, functional and performance) within the systems/agile/scrum teams and in collaboration with the customers
  • Test case management, Test run definitions, Impact, and risk analysis
  • Consulting with scrum and other teams on test planning and participating in scrum team testing, planning, and demo activities, providing test expertise and coaching
  • Automating tests. Selecting and applying test management tools / simulation models / test frameworks / scripting languages
  • Documenting and radiating test results including selected metrics/targets and other goals
  • Deriving improvements to reduce the defect rate and regression
  • Contributing to continuous Test and Verification competence development of the department

Candidate profile

  • A Bachelor or master’s degree, In a technical profession preferably with a software engineering / computer science / background
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in integration and verification of medical products software in an agile environment
  • Applicable certification, ISTQB Advanced / iSQI / CAT (Certified Agile Tester)

Experience in

  • Test aspects spanning the entire test pyramid, including End to End System testing, with connected hardware in the loop
  • Testing of communication modules / Smart Devices / Connectivity and knowledge of Wi-Fi / Bluetooth and Cellular protocols is an advantage
  • Behavioral Driven development, Feature file definition in Gherkin and Test automation code development
  • Software Component testing, API testing (Microservice /Library, module / unit)
  • Test Automation development on various platforms, Windows, Linux, and Mobile and Web.
  • UI/Web test frame works, including, Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress
  • API testing, SoapUI, PostMan, ReadyAPI
  • Basic software development skills in either, C#, Java, Groovy, Python, Rust/ Scripting
