For our client SABIC Innovative Plastics, YER is looking for an Inside Sales Specialist, who will be working at SABIC in Bergen op Zoom. It's a full-time, temporary assignment, beginning immediately and initially lasting for a year. There is a possibility of extension.

The Inside Sales team is part of the EMEA (European, Middle East & Africa) Functional Forms Commercial organization and is responsible for our European customers together with the sales force. The Inside Sales team is also working in close contact with the Supply Chain such as Material Management, Distribution and Support. The Supply Chain team facilitates the timely processing of the customer orders through the "order to delivery process" (Sales, Order Intake, Scheduling, Shipping and After Sales), which makes them the "spider in the web".

Job description

You will become part of a small business unit within SABIC, where we have long standing relations with our customers. We work in a small, international and dedicated team, with a "can do" atmosphere, where you will be empowered to take decisions with regard to your customers. This job offers significant growth opportunities in the Supply Chain or Commercial organization.

The ISR is the liaison between the external Customer and the internal SABIC organization. His/her primary task is to represent the commercial and logistical needs of the customer towards SABIC. You will be in frequent contact with the customers to discuss pricing, progress of current orders, discusses lead-times & delivery options and answer basic technical questions about our products. The external requirements will have to be translated into internal requests. These will need to be discussed internally with, for example: Scheduling, Logistics, Product Management or Finance, in order to reach the optimal situation for our customers and SABIC.

Candidate profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic person that likes the challenge of finding the optimum between: service to our customers and profitability for the company. In order to do this you should be able to understand the various parts of the total process and have the commercial skills to sell both good and bad news to your customers. Process optimization is something you do by nature.
