Product Owner Mobile Apps

In this role, you have the opportunity to
• be responsible for building and deploying the global app capability road map for Domestic Appliances, enabling app stakeholders across the globe to develop, deploy and manage DAs apps successfully through their lifecycle i.e through with insights in the app store marketplace, find out who their best users are and how they use the app. But also attract new users, interact with them, and offering relevant content. Additionally you will act as a thought leader on apps and are working closely together with business and IT to develop engaging app experiences for DA.

You are responsible for

• Build and deploy the app capability road map for Domestic Appliances businesses translating business app requirements into app development roadmaps.
• Serve as the business proxy managing app development user stories and backlog for apps, interfacing between business and IT.
• Participates in app demos and retrospectives.
• Inputs and provides guidance into DAs mobile app strategy working closely with app stakeholders across the company.
• Maintaining and improving DAs operating model concerning app management (processes, tools, KPIs, RACI).
• Guiding the management of the app capabilities though their lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life.
• Ensures that app roadmaps are available and maintained and communicated to the stakeholders.
• Responsible for strategical/tactical supplier management for apps.
• Overseeing the end-to-end performance and P*Q reporting of app services.
• Performance dialogue with App and Mobile specialists consistency of testing, quality and output
• Drive global Digital Activation Policy, governance and compliance model for Apps.
• Continuous enhancement of App Lifecycle Management process with relevant teams e.g. IT, Privacy, Legal, etc.
• Inspect and adapt - works with business teams to define & implement continuous improvement stories and innovation of the apps.
• Drive development of Mobile App community within DA (knowledge sharing, inspiration, trainings, etc.)

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Bachelor, Master or comparable practical experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in app development and app management
• Ability to drive complex change by persuading stakeholders
• End-to-end digital experience with a feel for IT and marketing.
• Superior analysis, research, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Business English
• Great communication skills - ability to explain detailed technicalities to experts and zoom out to explain to senior stakeholders
• Substantial facilitation skills and stakeholder management skills
• Business domain knowledge: knowledge to advise clients and make most independent decisions (incl. requirements)
• Able to flourish in a high organizational complex environment with multiple agile teams to liaise with
• Proven experience in building and transforming an organization from people, tooling, data and process
• Working experience in consumer focused, complex, matrixed, multinational environment. Preferably with experience in consumer goods, online services, e-commerce, or mobile applications
• Experience in managing teams in an agile (marketing) environment preferred
