About the Robeco Talent Development Programme
As an international asset manager with a wide range of active investments, from equities to bonds, Robeco is a strong believer in sustainable investment, quantitative techniques and constant innovation.
Alongside challenging projects in development, data, BIM, business project management and/or security, we will also be working on your development during this traineeship. You will work in an exciting environment with numerous intelligent IT and business management specialists to learn from. The issues are complex and Robeco works in multidisciplinary teams, so you will also learn a lot from your colleagues.
During the Robeco Traineeship, we will connect you with the team that best suits you based on your profile. You will be given 3 challenging assignments in 18 months and will therefore gain a good look behind the scenes at Robeco. Within these projects, you can work as a junior Developer, junior Data Specialist, junior (IT) PM(O), junior IT Business Analyst, junior Client Onboarding Specialist, junior Scrum Master and junior Security Officer.
In this traineeship, you will learn hard skills, soft skills and business skills. Hard skills are specific technical skills you will learn if you choose an It-related role. Soft skills and business skills make you an all-round professional. A certified coach will support you throughout the traineeship.
Depending on your profile and selected projects, you will take a number of the following technical skills courses, offered in collaboration with our recognised training partner Vijfhart:
- Azure Foundations
- Vue JS
- Methods like Agile/Scrum/Prince2
Soft & Business Skills
Depending on your profile and selected projects, you will take training courses such as Effective Communication, Time Management, Emotional Intelligence, Positioning in a New Organisation, Consulting Skills and Effective Influencing. As a result, within 18 months you will grow into an all-round professional with whom your Robeco colleagues can collaborate effectively.
Personal coaching sessions will complete your learning process. In these sessions, you will work with a NOBCO coach based on your talents and ambitions, using a personal development plan as a guideline.

If we select you for this Talent Development Programme, you will receive a contract and salary from YER from day one. After this 18-month traineeship, you will be given an employment contract with Robeco. Here are some of the other benefits:
- Bachelor's level salary of €2,800 gross based on 40 hours
- Master's level salary of €3,000 gross based on 40 hours

Who are you?
Complex IT and/or business process projects make your professional heart beat faster. You are driven and ambitious. You have a passion for data, development and/or business informatics and are known as a cooperative person who likes to work in a team to achieve joint goals.
You also have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, or a completed science programme with data/development components, or a completed business (administration), economical or financial programme – preferably with an IT component.
