Traineeship Embedded Hardware Engineering

Do you want to study and work on impressive hardware engineering projects? In the two-year Talent Development Programme Embedded Hardware Engineering, you will directly start working as a Trainee Hardware Engineer for 32 hours a week, whilst simultaneously following courses for 8 hours a week. At the end of this traineeship, you will be a skilled Hardware Engineer and an expert in Embedded Systems, 100% ready to embark on an inspiring career.

About the Talent Development Programme Embedded Hardware Engineering

Become a seasoned professional who has mastered all the technical and personal skills of an Embedded Hardware Engineer. Through our combination of targeted skills training and real-life work experience, this traineeship will help you develop into an accomplished Embedded Hardware Engineer within two years.

Work experience

Alongside your training courses, you will gain work experience at an organisation from our network. These organisations include high-tech companies that develop electronics. Some of them develop electronics for their own products, while others do project-based work for several clients at the same time. But they all have one thing in common: a passion for electronics and especially for Embedded Systems.

You will work on a range of projects and have various tasks. In the beginning there will be more of an emphasis on testing, but as your knowledge and experience grow, you will also develop products yourself. Examples include creating layouts, making diagrams and selecting components.

Training Courses

In this traineeship, you will start by completing a Preparatory Module in Electrical Engineering. You will then take the Main Module in Embedded Hardware Engineering. You will also complete training courses in soft skills and business skills, which will help you become an all-round developed professional. A certified coach will support you throughout the traineeship.
