For Vopak Netherlands we are looking for a Project Manager Tanks.
Functie
Organizational context:
The Project Engineer Tanks reports to the Program Manager Tanks.
Purpose of the position:
Prepare and align project specifications for the execution of tank maintenance programs, including the specification of utilities, equipment, materials and operating parameters.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Prepare project details, scope and cost estimate for the execution of the planned tank maintenance works in order for a contractor to offer a price
- Support the preparation of technical proposals for improvements of technical installations
- Assist in the technical assessment of installations to establish a technical state of current and new installations
- Support the execution of the project plan for different project phases
- Deliver input to Vopak’s main engineering contractor and review design work
- Review engineering documents and quality during the execution of the tank maintenance project
- Support processes required for the selection of a contractor for the tank maintenance projects on technical issues or the preparation and selection of a long term maintenance contract
- Support or promote new products and methods related to mechanical works

Profiel
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in a project engineering position in a related industry
- EEMUA publ. 159 and/or API 653 certified is an advantage
- Fluent in English
