The Product Group's of our international and stock listed client are accountable for the development of the high tech en high end products (hardware and software). The Project Management Office supports these Product Groups and the R&D organization by providing project management and specifically planning support to their associated projects and programs. For this office we are looking for a Senior Project Planner.

Functie

Position within the client organization:

The Planner reports to the PMO manager and has internal interfaces with the Product Development Managers, Project Leaders, project staff members, project controllers and other members of the PMO organization.

Job mission:

Deliver cross sector project & program level support by executing world-class project management processes and methodologies and provide timely and accurate project information to secure effective decision making. This is done in accordance with our clients Product Generation Process methodology and it's own world-wide Project Management methodology.

Job description:

Pro-actively assist the Project Leaders and/or Product Development Managers in developing their detailed project plan[s].

Pro-actively assist the roject Leaders and/or Product Development Managers in their day-to-day scheduling activities and agreed upon changes;.

Support the Project Leaders and/or Product Development Managers by providing accurate project management reporting & metrics: Product dashboard, Project Leader dashboard [status on the triple constrain and technical and operational content].

Support the Project Leaders and/or Product Development Managers during regular review meetings: Product Group Project phase reviews, weekly status update with Project Managers, plan-day, etc;

Support theProject Leaders and/or Product Development Managers in communicating and/or escalating, to the sponsor and different stakeholders, the issues/risks and mitigation to the agreed baselines;

Support the Project Leaders and/or Product Development Managers in financial forecasting process and pro-actively assist the roject Leaders and/or Product Development Managers in their [day-to-day] activities wrt financial delta management;

Responsible for the application of project standards and processes related to project planning, phase reviews, reporting, metrics, change control and quality checks;

Secure documentation and retention of all relevant Project Management documents, decisions and changes.

Participate in cross PMO initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management processes.

Educational Level:

  • Minimal level of Bachelors degree, preferably in the area of Business Administration.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a hands-on planner for large complex programs and detailed projects; or 3-5 years of experience as a Project Leader in a dynamic and innovated working environment.
  • Expert knowledge in the area of Project Management and supportive tooling (EPM tooling, MS Projects, MS Excel, MS Access)
  • Fluent in Dutch and English Preferred
