Job Description
This job opening is a challenging position for an experienced Engineer who likes to take the lead in the technical design and planning. You are responsible for coordination of tasks in an multidisciplinairy team and the main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Designing machines according concept, based upon agreed functionality, quality, delivery time and budget.
- Coaching of design engineers and draftsmen within the project.
- Responsible for (mechanical) project design.
- Making space - time diagrams.
- Working in project teams with various engineering disciplines.
- Reporting to the manager engineering

Projects are executed in various industries, for instance the food industry and pharmacy. Recently the company has put a strong focus on the cheese handling industry. For this industry they are designing, producing and selling fully automated production lines for hands free cheese handling. Their products are mainly sold throughout the north and west of Europe. Candidate Profile
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or megatronics.
- At least several years of relevant working experience designing (special) machines.
- Proven experience in 3D design programs.
- Experience in FEM and preferably knowledge of CE and hygienic design (HACCP).
- You are analytical, thorough, go-getter and have good communication skills
- You speak fluently English
