Sonion Research, Development and Industrialization is due to continuing growth and changes looking for new colleagues to enforce the Microphone, Receiver and Systems Development Departments to help developing and optimizing their microphones and receivers to be used in hearing aid devices.
Job Description
In the different departments we are looking for professionals who are already working as Product Development Engineer or Process Development Engineer. You will participate in the development of sub-miniature receivers, microphones and systems for hearing aid and pro audio applications.
Within a highly motivated team you will focus on generic product innovations or customer specific product variations. As a team you will be working on feasibility studies (concept development, simulation, risk analysis, demonstrator and prototype realization), Product Development (technical design, production compliance, FMEA, development and administration of measurement methods, control plan) and technical support to the international production organization. More focused as Process Development Engineer you add specific process knowledge to several development and industrialization projects. You will develop and improve processes for transducer production and pay special attention to their suitability for industrial production.
Since all activities from R&D up to the proto laboratory are located at the same office, you will be working closely with colleagues from different backgrounds.

Candidate Profile
- We are looking for professionals who have the drive to realize (new) products that Sonion clients are asking for within a competitive timeframe
- Msc. or PhD level and relevant experience in the field of Physics, Mechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics or (Bio Medical) Materials
- Experienced with balancing between superior solutions and time to market in a high tech customer focused R&D environment
- Able and willing to work within different teams and disciplines
- Good communicational skills, Dutch speaking is not a necessity
